SUMMARY (1)
Autism involves deficits in social behaviour, communication, and restricted and repetitive interests and behaviours, as well as sensory and motor abnormalities.
These traits have been described in terms of central coherence, executive function, and strong systemising, and depend on an ability to rapidly reconfigure and integrate cognitive and perceptual resources.
